Transformed decades of in-person wallcovering trade education into comprehensive online certificate programs, which increased association membership and revenue. Oversaw the successful launch of WallcoveringUniversity.com, a comprehensive knowledge base and learning hub for current and future members.

Developed a 30-minute interactive online course on specialty wallcovering installation as a companion to a live instructor-led training session.

Work Overview:

• Analyzed learner demographics, needs, and skill gaps
• Collaborated with WIA's Education Chair to develop a strategic plan for course offerings, certifications, and learning tracks
• Defined learning objectives and created storyboards
• Interviewed 11 different subject matter experts (SMEs) and reviewed written materials to obtain course content
• Designed and developed 9 e-learning modules in Articulate Storyline. Courses include slideshows, animation, interactive audio, videos, stories, scenario-based exercises, downloadable job aids, and final exams.
• Scripted, co-created and produced 2 one-hour video courses using Techsmith Camtasia. Courses included downloadable job aids and comprehensive final exams.
• Produced engaging two-minute marketing/overview videos for each course.
• Managed uploading and publication of each course to an LMS

Converted an existing PowerPoint presentation into an interactive e-learning course to teach contractors about infection control policy in hospital facilities, which improved compliance and decreased infection risk.
